Chef John
Chef John is the former owner of a cooking school and restaurant, having developed the original concept in January 1998. He has cooked for more than 30 years and professionally for 22. He is self taught benefiting from associations with other professional chefs. He has taught adult cooking classes in a wide range of cuisines and culinary techniques. He co-authored his first cook book It's All About the Food with Chef Debbie McGiffin.
Chef John appeared on WFLA's (News Channel 8, NBC) nationally syndicated and popular "Daytime Show" as the resident chef for 13 years until he retired in July 2014. His specialties on television were: Easy-to-Prepare Gourmet Dishes and Kicked up Comfort Foods. He has compiled more than 2,000 recipes and continues to work on new recipes
and menu development.

Chef Debbie
Chef Debbie was trained as she worked for Chef John and mentored with other Executive Chefs. She has developed hundreds of recipes and instructed more than a thousand people in cooking, baking and culinary skills.
Chef Debbie has been teaching cooking classes for more than 22 years and along with Chef John she has catered events ranging from 30 to 850 people. She manages the staffs for the private parties, cooking classes and catering businesses. Her passion is teaching kids how to cook and she is the primary teacher of our Kids Summer Camp in the Kitchen program now in its 23rd year. She specializes in healthy, nutritious foods for kids and adults. She was also the Executive Chef of the former restaurant which won three stars for food and service from the St. Pete Times.
